Frequently Asked Questions
Q: How long does window tint installation take?
A: Most vehicles can be professionally tinted in 2 to 4 hours, depending on the vehicle size and the type of film selected. Larger vehicles or jobs that include the windshield or sunroof may take longer.
Q: When can I roll my windows down after tinting?
A: We recommend waiting 3 to 5 days before rolling your windows down. This allows the film to fully cure and bond to the glass for the best results.
Q: What is the difference between Carbon and Ceramic Window Tint?
A: Carbon window tint offers excellent UV protection, glare reduction, and a stylish appearance. Ceramic window tint provides even greater heat rejection, blocks more infrared heat, and will not interfere with GPS, Bluetooth, or cell phone signals.
Q: Do you offer a warranty on your window tint?
A: Yes. We stand behind our work and offer manufacturer-backed warranties on our window films. Warranty coverage varies by film type and protects against peeling, bubbling, and fading.
Q: Do you install Paint Protection Film (PPF)?
A: Yes. We install premium Paint Protection Film to help protect your vehicle from rock chips, scratches, road debris, and everyday wear while preserving your vehicle’s finish.
Q: Do I need an appointment?
A: Appointments are recommended to ensure prompt service, but we also welcome walk-ins when availability allows.
Q: What areas do you serve?
A: Panther Tint & Glass proudly serves Livermore, Pleasanton, Dublin, San Ramon, Tracy, Mountain House, Castro Valley, and surrounding communities.
