Panther Tint & Glass complies with applicable California laws and regulations regarding automotive window tinting and vehicle glass services. Customers are solely responsible for ensuring their vehicle remains compliant with all federal, state, and local laws after installation.

California window tint laws, including but not limited to California Vehicle Code §26708 and related regulations, restrict the use of aftermarket tint on certain vehicle windows. Front windshield and front side window tinting may be limited by law, except where specifically permitted. Rear window tint may require dual side mirrors. Medical exemptions may apply only under limited circumstances and subject to California law.

By purchasing services from Panther Tint & Glass, the customer acknowledges and agrees that:

  • The customer has been informed of applicable California tint laws.
  • Any requested film shade or configuration outside California legal limits is installed at the customer’s request and discretion, where permitted by law.
  • Panther Tint & Glass makes no guarantee that aftermarket tint products will remain legal in every jurisdiction or under future law changes.
  • The customer assumes all responsibility for citations, inspections, fines, registration issues, or other legal consequences resulting from vehicle modifications.
  • Product appearance may vary slightly due to lighting conditions, factory glass tint, curing process, or vehicle model differences.
  • Temporary hazing, moisture pockets, or minor imperfections during the curing period are normal and typically resolve within several days to weeks after installation.
  • Warranty coverage applies only to manufacturer defects and workmanship issues as specified in the written warranty provided at the time of service.

Panther Tint & Glass reserves the right to refuse installation requests that violate California law, create unsafe driving conditions, or conflict with manufacturer or industry standards.

For the most current California tint regulations, customers should consult the California Highway Patrol and applicable California Vehicle Code provisions before installation.
